This is a little TV Tropes page that I've been thinking of making for my fanfic series, The All New Fairly OddParents!. It's all WIP, and is mostly just a list of the tropes that it has. Top Gear is one of the longest-running shows in the UK, besides Doctor Who, and one of the things that the two programs share in common is that they're run by the BBC. Another thing that Top Gear and Doctor Who have in common is that they've had a ton of contemptuous changes that not everyone was happy with, though this can apply to any long-running TV show or franchise. In November of 2023, the BBC had announced that they're pulling the plug on Top Gear "for the foreseeable future", but how did this happen, and what exactly caused the company to cancel the show like that after about 45 years on the air? The video game Cyberpunk 2077, based on R. Talsorian Games' Cyberpunk series of tabletop RPGs, was a pretty big gamble for its developer CD Projekt RED, who worked on the renowned Witcher games, with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt being the latest entry in that series. Despite its troubled development cycle and a pretty shaky launch when it eventually came out in December of 2020 after being in development for several years, facing a load of backlash and controversy in the process, the result eventually paid off when CDPR continued to support Cyberpunk 2077 with patches and DLC until 2023, when they released the game's sole story expansion, Phantom Liberty, which, along with patch 2.0 which fixed many of the shortcomings that the game had at launch, was met with tons of praise from critics and fans who otherwise didn't like the main game when it first launched.
